How and when do I submit my application?

October – January

The Application Window

  • Undergraduate (UCAS) Submissions: For undergraduate courses, you'll need to submit your application through the UCAS portal.
  • Postgraduate Direct Applications: For Master's and PhD programmes, our staff at AHZ will help you apply directly to university portals early.
  • Recommendation Letters: Reach out to your professors or employers to get strong Letters of Recommendation that highlight your potential.

What happens after I receive a university offer?

February – May

Evaluation & Acceptance

  • Reviewing Offers: You may receive "Conditional Offers" or "Unconditional Offers” from different universities. Our staff can help you review these offers and make the best choice possible.
  • Securing Your Seat: Once you've chosen a university, make sure you officially accept the offer and pay the tuition fee deposit.
  • Requesting your CAS: After you meet all conditions and pay your deposit, the university will issue your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).

What are the UK student visa and financial requirements?

June – August

Visa & Finance

  • The 28-Day Rule: Ensure your tuition fees and living expenses, as required by UKVI, are in your bank account for at least 28 days before applying for a visa.
  • Medical Requirements: Ensure you book and attend your TB (Tuberculosis) test at a UKVI-approved clinic.
  • Visa Submission: Submit your application online and attend the biometric appointment at a VFS Global or TLScontact centre.
